- Snowbombing is world famous annual winter sports and music festival held in the early April ( spring) at the Austrian ski resort of Mayrhofen.
- The event has been started in 2000 since many popular Artistes have appeared at Snowbombing Music Festival including Fatboy Slim, Madness, Pendulum.
- It was first held at the French resort of Risoul as an après-ski nightclub.
- Since 2005, the Tyrolean resort of Mayrhofen in Austria has hosted the festival
- Snowbombing is a festival which, in addition to music, offers luxury and comfort with around fifty pools and saunas within easy reach, and a backdrop of breathtaking alpine scenery.

- Snowbombing also famous for The Snowbombing Road Trip.It is the only festival in the world to offer a Road Trip through 5 different countries from the UK to Mayrhofen to end the trip ,which declares the event open.
- European television channels and radio broadcasters have covered the event, including BBC Radio 1, Channel 4, Eurosport, Canal+ and MTV Europe which has evolved into Europe's biggest snow and music festival
